My spring maintenance this year will have much more on the list. If I ride off in to the sunrise this year (west to east), it will be my last major service before I go.
So in addition to last years project this year I will add; rear and front wheel bearing repair, brake and caliper rebuilds, brake line inspection, cables lubed, steering head bearings, progressive springs in forks, head and passing lamp upgrades, new stock pipes, roadwing suspension upgrade, new enricher cover, new dual compound tires, spare fuel can mounted, camera equipment.
The enricher cover will come from Italy or the USA. The roadwing suspension and progressive fork springs will come out of the USA. There are two custom manufacturers building them.
I have the stock pipes. They have a few hundred miles on them – Jeff is making a bobber out of his roadwing and I was lucky to find him. I also got the Yamaha passenger floorboards. The bearings, brakes, tires etc will come from Yamaha via Daytona Cycle in Vancouver.
The camera(s) and filming equipment – I am researching the options. How many, where to mount, type, power for them … Stills, videos, drone ???
